    Visit Maldives participates in ILTM North America 2021

    Visit Maldives partakes in International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) North America 2021

    Visit Maldives participates at the International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) North America 2021, held at Riviera Maya, Mexico.

    Moreover, the event commenced on 20th September and will run until 23rd September, Thursday.

    The ILTM North America is an invitation-only annual event where top producing agents and advisors from the USA, Canada and Mexico meet with the world’s most “exclusive travel experiences.”

    Furthermore, it was reported on the official site of Visit Maldives that a total 60 worldwide exhibitors and North American buyers from over 153 cities will be partaking in the event.

    According to Visit Maldives, exhibiting at the event provides the unique opportunity to amplify the presence of the tourism promoter in the “region by providing unique access to new contacts as much as fortifying the relationship with existing ones.”

    In addition to this, Visit Maldives expects to drive up arrival from the region given the growing momentum of the North American market to Maldives.

    Meanwhile, the US market to Maldives has observed a steady growth during 2020 with 19,759 arrivals and ranking 8th among top source markets to the island nation. Furthermore, a total of 32,976 tourists arrived from United States as of 15th September 2021, placing the country at fourth rank in terms of arrivals for far this year.
