Outrigger Hotels and Resorts confirms the hotelier’s decision of purchasing Maafushivaru Maldives Resort.
The hotelier will be acquiring the property from its current proprietor, LTI Hotels, which has operated the island under LTI Maafushivaru.
LTI Hotels is the hotel brand under Germany’s DER Touristik, which is a subsidiary of the Revisionsverband der Westkauf cooperations; or otherwise known as REWE Group.
Moreover, it has been confirmed that Outrigger will rename the property to Outrigger Maldives Maafushivaru after acquisition.
The property was first developed by the Paradise Resorts Development and Management Private Limited.
