State Electric Company Limited (STELCO) has commenced a cleaning program extending to all of its powerhouses.
The utility provider announced that the primary aim of the program is to ensure STELCO staff worked in safe and secure environments.
Under the cleaning programs, wastage gathered in all of the utility provider’s powerhouses will be discarded and disposed accordingly. In addition to this, unwanted or unused electrical cables, iron bars, and other materials will be discarded from the powerhouses.
Moreover, the items that are of reusable nature will be put on auction for interested buyers.
The slogan under which the cleaning program kicked off in 2022 is “Safe Working Environment – Motivation to Serve”.
Furthermore, the cleaning program is an initiative led by STELCO’s Managing Director Mr. Ahmed Shareef to ensure safer working conditions for the company’s employees.
The cleaning program commenced simultaneously in all 35 of the powerhouses managed by STELCO.
