    Bank of Maldives (BML) has awarded its top performing employees, at the Staff Awards 2022 on 14th October.

    The event was held at Social Center on Friday evening.

    The bank recognized the performances of its best employees, who were awarded for their previous year’s performance. Accolades include;

    • Hassan Aqleem (North Cluster Manager) and Mohamed Ashraf (Head of People Development) – Employee of the Year Award
    • Fathimath Farihath Waheed (Head of Cards and Payment Governance), Abdulla Sobah (Senior Manager, Premium Banking) and BML Mobile App Team – CEO’s Award for Outstanding Achievement
    • Mohamed (Public Relations Manager) – Best Leader Award
    • Ali Zaid Mohamed (Compliance Manager) – Best Manager Award

    Moreover, awards for staff and teams who excelled over the past year were presented in various categories, which included;

    • Best Atoll Branch
    • Best Team
    • Best Atoll Employee
    • Customer Service Star
    • Award for Innovation

    The awards were presented by BML’s In-charge and acting MD Aishath Noordeen, members of the bank’s board of directors and executive committee.

    Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Noordeen said, “I congratulate all the winners tonight and express my deep appreciation to all our staff for their immense contribution and commitment.”

    “As we look forward celebrating our 40th anniversary next month, it is wonderful to recognize and appreciate our staff who are behind the bank’s growth and success over the years,” she added.

    The Staff Awards represents one of the components of the bank’s focused human resources strategy.

    Earlier, the bank received the prestigious “Asia’s Best Employer Brand Award” for the fourth consecutive year.
