According to MMPRC, the event is scheduled for May next year.

The “Visit Maldives Storytellers’ Conference” will begin on 07th May 2023, to promote the destination and showcase the unique tourism experience offered by Maldives. With the conference, MMPRC aims to position the country beyond the “traditional sun, sand, and sea” while increasing awareness on MICE and sustainable tourism segments among influencers, bloggers and travel writers.

The event is expected to bring together, over 50 international travel writers, 4 celebrity speakers, 10 to 20 Maldivian journalists and sell the island nation effectively in their respective markets.
