Tourist arrivals to the Maldives exceed 350,000 as of 28th February 2023, according to the Ministry of Tourism.
The ministry confirmed that the tourist arrivals reached 350,413 by the review date which is a 24.8% increment compared to the same period in 2022 during which arrivals stood at 280,776. Moreover, the tourist arrivals exclusively for February stood at 177,914; which is a 19.4% increase when compared with the same month last year, during which arrivals stood at 149,011.
