{"id":1491,"date":"2021-07-15T19:25:23","date_gmt":"2021-07-15T14:25:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mbt.mv\/?p=1491"},"modified":"2021-07-15T19:25:23","modified_gmt":"2021-07-15T14:25:23","slug":"states-covid-19-effort-spending-reach-mvr3-57bn","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mbt.mv\/?p=1491","title":{"rendered":"State&#8217;s Covid-19 effort spending reach MVR3.57bn"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thursday, 15th July &#8211; Maldives government reveals that the state had spent a total of MVR3,574.5 million (MVR3.57 billion) towards Covid-19 related efforts.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, Ministry of Finance revealed that the total health and social spending as of 08th July reached MVR1,815.9 million (MVR1.8 billion), which had marked a meager 0.6% increase from the week before.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, during this period only 39.9% of the total health and social spending had been committed-spending.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, the total economic response spending had not observed an increment for the review period but rather a decrease, while the total stood at MVR1,758.6 million (MVR1.76 billion).<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the state body in their latest statistical update revealed that the government made no additional disbursements to any of the Economic Response Plan schemes.<\/p>\n<p>So far, National Disaster Management Authority had spent MVR867.9 million related to Covid-19 efforts while Ministry of Health spent MVR574.6 million.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thursday, 15th July &#8211; Maldives government reveals that the state had spent a total of MVR3,574.5 million (MVR3.57 billion) towards Covid-19 related efforts.
