Divorce from Jennifer Lopez<\/strong><\/h4>\n

In an interview with GQ<\/em>, Affleck reflected on his involvement in Lopez’s documentary, The Greatest Love Story Never Told<\/em>, and how their contrasting attitudes toward fame impacted their relationship. \u201cPart of it was, \u2018Okay, if I\u2019m going to participate in this, I want to do it honestly and in a way that\u2019s meaningful,\u2019\u201d<\/em> he explained. While Lopez embraces public attention effortlessly, Affleck admitted to having a more private and reserved nature. \u201cAs with any relationship, you don\u2019t always share the same perspective on everything,\u201d<\/em> he said. \u201cI love and support this person. I believe in them. They\u2019re amazing. I want people to see that. It\u2019s like marrying a ship captain and then saying, \u2018Well, I don\u2019t like going out on the water.\u2019 You have to accept what comes with it.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m incredibly lucky to have a great co-parent and partner in Jennifer Garner, the kids\u2019 mom. She\u2019s wonderful, and we work together really well,\u201d<\/em> he shared. Addressing how they handle media attention around their family, he recalled a lighthearted approach they used with their children: \u201cWhenever they\u2019d see something on a tabloid stand, we\u2019d tell them, \u2018You know this isn\u2019t always true\u2014because if it were, you\u2019d have 15 brothers and sisters.\u2019\u201d<\/em> He described the persistent media scrutiny as \u201cmore of a headache than anything else.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
