The Maldives has officially inaugurated its embassy in Ankara<\/strong>, the capital of T\u00fcrkiye, marking a significant step forward in diplomatic ties between the two nations. The embassy was formally opened during a ceremony held yesterday, attended by Maldivian Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Khaleel<\/strong>, T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy<\/strong>, and Maldives Ambassador to T\u00fcrkiye, Lieutenant General (Retired) Abdul Raheem Abdul Latheef<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the opening, Minister Khaleel described the establishment of the embassy as a historic milestone<\/strong> in the Maldives’ foreign relations, emphasizing its importance in enhancing bilateral and multilateral cooperation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis embassy symbolizes our commitment to strengthening our diplomatic presence and expanding relations with T\u00fcrkiye, a longstanding and valued partner,\u201d Khaleel stated.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs<\/strong>, the newly opened mission will play a key role in advancing the Maldives\u2019 foreign policy objectives, while also providing essential consular services<\/strong> to Maldivians residing in T\u00fcrkiye.
