{"id":16042,"date":"2025-05-13T07:56:04","date_gmt":"2025-05-13T02:56:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mbt.mv\/?p=16042"},"modified":"2025-05-13T07:56:04","modified_gmt":"2025-05-13T02:56:04","slug":"mtcc-launches-ferry-services-to-kudagiri-picnic-island","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mbt.mv\/?p=16042","title":{"rendered":"MTCC launches ferry services to Kudagiri Picnic Island"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has begun direct transfers to Kudagiri Picnic Island.<\/p>\n<p>The Kudagiri Picnic Island was developed by the government to provide a designated picnic destination for the people living in Greater Male&#8217; and surrounding areas.<\/p>\n<p>MTCC said ferries for Kudagiri now be booked via the company&#8217;s website.<\/p>\n<p>MTCC has begun its transfers to Kudagiri with a ferry of 140-passenger capacity, and will operate six trips per each day on Fridays and Saturdays every week.<\/p>\n<p>The company added it will begin direct transfers between the picnic island and Hulhumale&#8217; in the future.<\/p>\n<p>The trips cost MVR 50 per person per trip, and the approximate duration is 35 minutes, MTCC added.<\/p>\n<h3>Transfer Schedule<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Male&#8217; to Kudagiri: 06:30hrs, 08:00hrs, 09:30hrs<\/li>\n<li>Kudagiri to Male&#8217;: 16:00hrs, 17:30hrs, 19:30hrs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has begun direct transfers to Kudagiri Picnic Island.
