To date, only 66 universities and business schools within the South Asian region have attained this prestigious recognition.<\/p>\n<p>Villa College&#8217;s Business School has become the first-ever in the Maldives to achieve the accreditation.<\/p>\n<h3>Villa College Business School Programs That Received SAQS Accreditation:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Master of Arts in Human Resource Management<\/li>\n<li>Master of Business Administration<\/li>\n<li>Master of Science in Aviation Management<\/li>\n<li>Master of Science in Project Management<\/li>\n<li>Master of Professional Accounting<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor of Arts in Banking and Finance<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor of Arts in Human Resource Management and Development<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor of Arts in Business and Aviation Management<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor of Arts in Business and Project Management<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor of Arts in Business Management<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and Marketing<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor of Arts in Tourism and Hotel Management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>During a press conference held to announce this achievement, the Vice Rector of Villa College, Dr. Ali Najeeb stated that the college remains committed pursuing various international accreditations. He emphasized that this initiative aligns with the college&#8217;s ongoing mission to provide education that adheres to global benchmarks and is internationally recognized.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Najeeb further explained that the journey toward this accreditation began in 2021, and noted that over the past five years, extensive efforts have been made to enhance the quality of the college&#8217;s programs to meet the required standards.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;This is not a one-time accreditation. It involves periodic reviews and ongoing assessment. Therefore, the college must continuously strive to maintain these high standards. This achievement serves as a guarantee to our students that we are dedicated to sustaining the quality of our academic offerings.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Ali Najeeb<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Speaking at the event, Ali Nafiz, the Dean of Qasim Ibrahim School of Business, highlighted that the primary objective of seeking such accreditation is to validate the college&#8217;s courses are recognized on an international level. He added that this accreditation assures industry partners that graduates from Villa College possess the necessary skills and competencies required in the professional field.<\/p>\n<p>He further said that the accreditation evaluates multiple facets, including student services, curriculum design, the qualifications of the academic staff, and the institutional commitment to continuous improvement.<\/p>\n<p>Moosa Mohamed, Director of the Institute for Academic Development, added that this accreditation confirms that Villa College&#8217;s programs meet international standards and feature curricula that are aligned with global trends and industry requirements.
