Previously, the Ministry of Housing managing these units directly.<\/p>\n<p>Following the signing, HDC moved quickly as maintenance crews began practical work on the flats immediately.<\/p>\n<p>HDC has also notified residents of the change. &#8220;Effective immediately, all maintenance issues concerning the 704 housing units will be addressed by this corporation. Residents are advised to coordinate with HDC for such matters,&#8221; the corporation stated.<\/p>\n<p>The transfer marks a significant consolidation of HDC&#8217;s housing portfolio. The corporation already oversees the Hiyaa and Vinares flats in Hulhumale&#8217; Phase 2.
