Flynas will operate three flights per week between King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and VIA. MACL described the relaunch as a significant opportunity to strengthen air connectivity between both countries.<\/p>\n<p>The occasion drew a formal welcome at the VIA. The airport staff greeted the inbound aircraft with a water salute. Passengers arriving from Riyadh experienced traditional Maldivian Boduberu performances on the ground. MACL also distributed commemorative gifts to both arriving and departing passengers.<\/p>\n<p>Flynas resumes Maldives operations at a strategically important moment. Saudi Arabia ranks among the Maldives&#8217; key tourism source markets. MACL expects the reinstated route to generate stronger travel demand from the wider Middle East region.<\/p>\n<p>The airport operator pointed to broader ambitions beyond this single route. MACL is actively working to bring more international airlines into VIA.
