Meanwhile, the cumulative arrival total from Russia is at 162,801 which is 20.6% of the total arrivals to the country.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the total arrivals to Maldives as of 08th September has reached 788,846. So far the total arrivals from 01st until 08th of September exclusively at 32,880 indicating 10.4% increment in comparison with the same period in 2019 and a 1,329.6% increment in comparison with the corresponding period in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, other top source markets to Maldives include Germany with a total arrival of 46,218 holidaymakers, which is 5.9% of the total arrivals.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, other top source markets to Maldives include;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>USA &#8211; 31,793 arrivals (4.0%)<\/li>\n<li>Ukraine &#8211; 27,386 arrivals (3.5%)<\/li>\n<li>Saudi Arabia &#8211; 26,436 arrivals (3.4%)<\/li>\n<li>Spain &#8211; 23,102 arrivals (2.9%)<\/li>\n<li>United Kingdom &#8211; 17,548 arrivals (2.2%)<\/li>\n<li>Kazakhstan &#8211; 17,460 arrivals (2.2%)<\/li>\n<li>France &#8211; 15,067 arrivals (1.9%)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Meanwhile a total of 155 resorts out of the 163 registered tourist resorts are operational, which holds a combined bed capacity of 36,832.
