The Auditor General’s Office of the Maldives and the Comptroller and Auditor General of India has signed on a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen the bilateral cooperation between the parties.<\/p>\n

Moreover, the agreement was signed on 24th October 2021 between the Auditor General of Maldives Mr. Hussain Niyazy and Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India Mr. Girish Chandra Murmu.<\/p>\n

Mr. Murmu is currently on an official visit in the Maldives on an invitation from the Auditor General of Maldives.<\/p>\n

At the signing ceremony, both parties had highlighted on the importance of collaborating with one another on mutual areas of interest. The agreement will also give both parties more room to enhance professional capacity of both the institutions of the respective countries as well as improve upon the methodologies in public auditing field.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the parties have agreed on conducting training programs in their respective countries for the staff on a need-basis.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
