{"id":3412,"date":"2022-06-05T11:26:50","date_gmt":"2022-06-05T06:26:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mbt.mv\/?p=3412"},"modified":"2022-06-05T11:26:50","modified_gmt":"2022-06-05T06:26:50","slug":"stelco-to-install-electrical-network-on-its-housing-towers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mbt.mv\/?p=3412","title":{"rendered":"STELCO to install electrical network on its housing towers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>State Electric Company Limited (STELCO) will reportedly install electrical network on its own expense at the two housing towers in Hulhumale&#8217; Phase II.<\/p>\n<p>The social housing towers that are developed by the utility provider aims to provide housing solutions for the company&#8217;s employees and their families.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, on Saturday evening, 04th June, STELCO confirmed its board of directors&#8217; decision to initiate installation of electricity in the housing towers.<\/p>\n<p>STELCO moved forward with the decision to expedite completion of the housing towers to ensure they are livable by July 2022. The company has pledged on allocating the apartments to its staff by the following month.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, in May Housing Development Corporation (HDC) had revealed it had contracted Browns-CMEC to install the electricity grid in Hulhumale&#8217; Phase II.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, the contractor had installed electrical grids that power the Hiyaa apartment towers. In addition to this, HDC claimed that the housing towers developed by other State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) will be powered through the electricity grid installed by CMEC.<\/p>\n<p>While STELCO has pledged on installing its own electrical grid at the housing towers, HDC had earlier affirmed on installing electrical network latest by September 2022.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>State Electric Company Limited (STELCO) will reportedly install electrical network on its own expense at the two housing towers in Hulhumale&#8217; Phase II.
