The library of Shaviyani atoll Bilehffahi School has been developed with the support of the Community Fund of Bank of Maldives (BML).<\/p>\n
While the initiative was carried out by one of the school’s teachers, Mr. Ismail Shareef the upgrade works under the project included procurement of 700 new books, creating new bookshelves as well as procurement of furniture including chairs and tables.<\/p>\n
Speaking about the initiative, Mr. Shareef said, “With the addition of both English and Dhivehi books and an improved reading environment, the project will help implement the school’s current reading program.”<\/p>\n
“We have also been able to create an environment where more children can develop interest to read and learn. I would like to thank Bileffahi Council, teachers, librarian, and those who supported us throughout the project,” Mr. Shareef added.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
