The airline is set to operate Boeing 767 class 336-seater commercial carriers.<\/p>\n<p>The airline is launching its direct flight operations to the island nation ahead of the peak tourism season, which normally starts on December and lasts until March. Meanwhile, Russian tourist arrivals show strong increment in week-on-week basis. The market is currently ranked second with a total of 159,657 tourist arrivals as of 26th October.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Ministry of Tourism revealed its aspiration to achieve 1.6 million annual tourist arrivals to the Maldives by the end of 2022.
