The race should be completed before 18:00hrs of the same day. While individual participants are required to report to the finishing line at 18:00hrs, teams are granted an extra hour and should report back to the finish line at 19:00hrs.<\/p>\n<p>Each vessel will have an official onboard to monitor progress and record the catch. The officials will also monitor if the participants adhere to the regulations of the competition and avoid breaching fishing regulations.<\/p>\n<p>Specific points will be allocated for catching specific types of fish and catch-and-release fish categories as well.<\/p>\n<p>The fishing competition was launched as part of the virtual fishing application developed by Sonee Fishing and in partnership with Unix Sports. The application will be officially unveiled on Saturday evening, 20:00hrs at Usfasgandu.<\/p>\n<p>Participants of the tournament can upload their catches to the application to gain points.<\/p>\n<p>The tournament was launched with prize money for winners.
