The cumulative total of state expenditure reached MVR5.49 billion as of 23rd February 2023, according to the Ministry of Finance.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, the state revenues inclusive of foreign grants reached MVR4.75 billion by the review date. The overall balance for the period is a deficit of MVR734.6 million.<\/p>\n

The cumulative tax revenue total is currently at MVR4.0 billion, while the cumulative total of non-tax revenues is at MVR738.5 million. Grants received to the government so far in 2023 is at MVR6.8 million.<\/p>\n
