Tourist arrivals to the Maldives has reached closed to 500,000 in annual terms, reported the Ministry of Tourism.<\/p>\n

According to the ministry, arrivals to the Maldives has observed a 22.7% increase compared to the same period last year.<\/p>\n

Statistics indicate that the Maldives has welcomed a total of 483,624 tourists as of 23rd March 2023. By the corresponding period last year, the arrivals stood at 394,204 and 266,754 in 2021.<\/p>\n

Tourist arrivals to the Maldives from 01st to 23rd March stood at 133,210 which is a 17.4% increment from the same period in 2022 during which arrivals stood at 113,428.<\/p>\n
