{"id":5946,"date":"2023-04-25T20:08:42","date_gmt":"2023-04-25T15:08:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mbt.mv\/?p=5946"},"modified":"2023-04-25T20:08:42","modified_gmt":"2023-04-25T15:08:42","slug":"nbam-concerned-over-drifting-vessels-in-hulhumale-lagoon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mbt.mv\/?p=5946","title":{"rendered":"NBAM concerned over drifting vessels in Hulhumale&#8217; lagoon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The National Boating Association of Maldives (NBAM) has raised concerns about old vessels berthed in Hulhumale&#8217; lagoon drifting from their anchored location.<\/p>\n<p>The association notified the issue has been already brought to the attention of relevant authorities including Urbanco, Ministry of Tourism, and the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation.<\/p>\n<p>The old vessels had drifted from their originally berthed location and were scraping against other docked boats in the lagoon. NBAM further said that the vessels remain unmanned.<\/p>\n<p>Photos of these vessels show that the boats are in rundown condition and have collected rust.
