Regional Airports Company Limited (RACL) said some aspects of the project are progressing faster than the projected timeline.<\/p>\n<p>India&#8217;s JMC Projects was awarded the project in September 022, and has completed the project halfway within 11 months. Approximately 60% of the runway is now complete.<\/p>\n<p>JMC Projects&#8217; Director Inder Singh said that 1.2 kilometers of the 2.7 kilometers runway will be completed in the next 15 days.<\/p>\n<p>The project is financed through EXIM Bank of India, for a project total of USD 136 million.
