Post completion, RACL added all necessary permissions would be acquired prior to opening the new tarmac for operations.<\/p>\n<p>With the new tarmac, night-landing facility would be enhanced at the international airport.<\/p>\n<p>RACL further reports the entire tarmac spanning 2,460 meters would be completed by the second quarter of 2024, after which the airport would transition into a 24-hour operational venue.<\/p>\n<p>The international airport&#8217;s development is executed under three separate segments, ensuring its operations do not come to a halt.<\/p>\n<p>The airport is developed under a loan issued by India&#8217;s EXIM Bank.<\/p>\n<p>RACL reports the airport would be able to accommodate 1.3 million passengers annually once the new tarmac completes and become functional.
