{"id":8786,"date":"2024-02-06T10:41:36","date_gmt":"2024-02-06T05:41:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mbt.mv\/?p=8786"},"modified":"2024-02-06T10:41:36","modified_gmt":"2024-02-06T05:41:36","slug":"beijing-capital-to-add-new-route-to-the-maldives","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mbt.mv\/?p=8786","title":{"rendered":"Beijing Capital to add new route to the Maldives"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Beijing Capital reportedly will commence flights from Hangzhou, China to the Maldives this February.<\/p>\n<p>According to the airline, it would operate three flights every week to the Maldives using their Airbus A330-200s.<\/p>\n<p>Hangzhou is the capital of the Zheijang province in eastern China, and is famous for its West Lake and cultural heritage.<\/p>\n<p>Beijing Capital is also the first airline from China to resume direct flights to the Maldives in 2023 after a three-year halt following the Covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>More recently, the Ministry of Tourism announced China taking top spot in the tourist market rankings to the Maldives with over 23,900 arrivals so far in 2024.
