{"id":9124,"date":"2024-04-04T22:22:42","date_gmt":"2024-04-04T17:22:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mbt.mv\/?p=9124"},"modified":"2024-04-04T22:22:42","modified_gmt":"2024-04-04T17:22:42","slug":"bml-proposes-highest-ever-dividend-for-all-time-high-profit-in-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mbt.mv\/?p=9124","title":{"rendered":"BML proposes highest-ever dividend for all-time-high profit in 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bank of Maldives (BML) reports best-ever performance in 2023 with a Profit After Tax (PAT) of MVR 2.07 billion.<\/p>\n<p>The bank&#8217;s Board of Directors has recommended the highest-ever dividend payout of MVR 50 per share, which would be approved at the next Annual General Meeting (AGM).<\/p>\n<p>BML CEO and Managing Director, Karl Stumke said, &#8220;I am pleased to report this record performance for the Bank, which also marks the first time the Bank has crossed MVR 2 billion.
