{"id":9140,"date":"2024-04-09T11:45:01","date_gmt":"2024-04-09T06:45:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mbt.mv\/?p=9140"},"modified":"2024-04-09T11:45:01","modified_gmt":"2024-04-09T06:45:01","slug":"govt-collects-mvr-99-6-mn-green-tax-in-january-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mbt.mv\/?p=9140","title":{"rendered":"Govt collects MVR 99.6 mn Green Tax in January 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Maldives Government has earned over MVR 99 million in Green Tax for the month of January 2024, reports the Ministry of Finance.<\/p>\n<p>According to the ministry&#8217;s Green Fund Report, the government collected MVR 99.6 million in total for the review month.<\/p>\n<h2>Green Tax by Tourism Segments<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Resorts &#8211; MVR 89.1 million<\/li>\n<li>Hotels &#8211; MVR 1.79 million<\/li>\n<li>Guesthouses &#8211; MVR 6.17 million<\/li>\n<li>Liveaboards\/Vessels &#8211; MVR 2.53 million<\/li>\n<li>Homestay &#8211; MVR 11,832.60<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For now, only small scale projects have been carried out from the Green Fund revenue.
