{"id":9152,"date":"2024-04-13T11:30:14","date_gmt":"2024-04-13T06:30:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mbt.mv\/?p=9152"},"modified":"2024-04-13T11:30:14","modified_gmt":"2024-04-13T06:30:14","slug":"sdfc-waives-off-covid-19-business-aid-loan-interest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mbt.mv\/?p=9152","title":{"rendered":"SDFC waives off Covid-19 business aid loan interest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SME Development Finance Corporation (SDFC) has announced a waiver on the Covid-19 business aid loan&#8217;s interest.<\/p>\n<p>The decision follows Maldives President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu&#8217;s earlier promise for the same.<\/p>\n<p>According to SDFC, in the week immediately after the Eid holidays, it would share the changes brought to the loans of customers regarding the interest exemption. The information would be shared via the SDFC customer portal.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the corporation said that the interest amount paid by customers so far will be deducted from the loan&#8217;s principal amount.
