{"id":9794,"date":"2024-06-27T20:34:12","date_gmt":"2024-06-27T15:34:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mbt.mv\/?p=9794"},"modified":"2024-06-27T20:34:12","modified_gmt":"2024-06-27T15:34:12","slug":"econ-minister-meets-chinese-banks-to-discuss-cooperation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mbt.mv\/?p=9794","title":{"rendered":"Econ Minister meets Chinese banks to discuss cooperation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Minister of Economic Development and Trade Mohamed Saeed has met with Chinese banks to discuss and seek avenues for trade and economic growth for the Maldives.<\/p>\n<p>The minister is currently in China to attend the 15th World Economic Forum.<\/p>\n<p>In the sidelines of the forum, Saeed met with the senior executives of two Chinese banks on Thursday, seeking ways to form strategic partnership aimed at boosting the Maldives economy.<\/p>\n<p>The minister first met with the senior officials of China Industrial and Commercial Bank (ICBC), to discuss strategies for further engagement.
