Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) is hosting journalists from Japan to visit the Maldives on a familiarization (FAM) trip.
The Japanese reporters are currently in the Maldives, from May 17 to 24, experiencing stays in three properties; Huvafen Fushi, Movenpick Resort Kuredhivaru and LUX* South Ari Atoll.
Notable media outlets represented by the writers include VOGUE Japan Online, CREA WEB, Numero Tokyo.jp and MyNavi Woman.
With this familiarization trip, MMPRC aims to build great brand awareness of the Maldives tourism industyr in the Japanese market, and provide the opportunity to send notable publications to target viewers and readers.
MMPRC also aims to advance the marketing strategies for the Japanese market, focused on building destination awareness and showcasing various elements of tourism available in the Maldives to Japanese travel trade and travelers as a destination.
