Thursday, 12th August – MTCC has reported on dispatching the second shipment of rock boulders required for the quay wall construction at Shaviyani atoll Bilehfahi.
Moreover, the shipment was dispatched on 10th August, Tuesday of the current week, which will be used in completing the quay wall structure that falls under the project components of the island’s harbor development project.
Furthermore, work scope entails dredging and excavation operations spanning 24,125 cubic meters along with the construction of a breakwater measuring 376 meters in length.
Additional structures of the project include construction of a 98-meter quay wall, which is currently at ongoing capacity in terms of work. Apart from this, MTCC is expected to install a paved area measuring 1,150 square-meters.
The contractor reports project valuation at a total of MVR28.42 million.
