President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Ibrahim Abdul Razzaq Haleem as the new Chief Executive Officer of Dharumavantha Hospital.
Haleem previously served as the Managing Director of Maldives Ports Limited (MPL), Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), Maldives Road Development Corporation (MRDC) during former President Abdulla Yameen’s administration.
He was appointed as the hospital’s CEO at a State Minister level, and the post was previously filled by Ibrahim Saleem who served as CEO of both Dharumavantha and Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).
Additionally, President Muizzu on Wednesday, November 22, renamed the Male’ Hospitals Board of Trustees to “City Group of Hospitals Governing Board” which oversees the running of Dharumavantha Hospital, IGMH, Hulhumale’ Hospital and Vilimale’ Hospital.
