State Trading Organization (STO) has introduced globally famous and technologically superior medical brand Nihon Kohden from Japan.
STO introduced Nihon Kohden’s ventilators and G-5 monitors, which will be applicable in all the hospital departments including the intensive care unit (ICU) and operation theater.
The new medical equipment brand was introduced at a special ceremony held at Crossroads Maldives, which was graced by the Japanese Ambassador to the Maldives Takeuchi Midori.
STO Managing Director Abdulla Saeed, State Minister of the Ministry of Health Ahmed Adil, and the Managing Director of Nihon Kohden Singapore Hirotushi Kobayashi participated in the event as well.
Besides introducing the new medical equipment, STO has launched a special training program for doctors and nurses to familiarize them with the features and user manuals of the new products. The training will run from August 14 to 16.
