Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA) this week has confirmed of receiving De Havilland Canada’s endorsement certificate.
With this, the world’s largest seaplane operator has become the first in the Asian region to receive the recognition. De Havilland, a prominent Canadian aerospace company provides the twin-otters to TMA.
At the official endorsement handover ceremony held last Sunday, the certificate was presented by De Havilland Chief Executive Officer Brian Chafe to TMA Chief Executive Officer A.U.M Fauzy. Owners of De Havilland Sherry Brideson and Robert McDonald graced the ceremony as well.
At the ceremony, Fauzy thanked De Havilland for the company’s continued assistance in the success of TMA.
