Tree Top Hospital announced its decision to host a roadshow to raise awareness about diabetes among public.
The roadshow is aimed at spreading awareness about diabetes prevention measures and early diagnosis. General information related to the illness and basic tests will be carried out during the roadshow.
Tree Top said the roadshow will feature a panel of doctors to provide prompt consultations for patients. The panel includes gynecologists, pediatricians, nutritionists, endocrinologists, and physiotherapists.
People attending to the roadshow will be required to register on-site, and following this a basic diabetic screening will be conducted for them. The screening will help determine if the person has symptoms of diabetes.
During the process, a family medicine doctor will provide consultation and if the patient exhibits symptoms of diabetes, further specialist consultation will be available.
