Tuesday, 27th July – Ukraine’s flagship carrier is expected to resume their international flight operations to Maldives once again, as per recent developments.
According to latest travel and aviation updates, Ukraine is set to restart their flights to the island nation through the collaboration of Resort Life Holidays, a Maldivian tour operator focused in both Russia and Ukraine.
The airline’s decision was announced during “Maldives Day” hosted by Resort Life Holidays at Ukraine to celebrate the Maldives Independence Day; commemorated on 26th July every year.
Although the flight operations will continue on a charter-basis for a limited duration, the airline’s operations are subject to change based on demand. The charter flights will travel between Kiev and Velana International Airport, reportedly.
Ukraine is among the strongest single tourist markets to the island nation, and was ranked third during the peak season of tourism in Maldives in 2020, which is usually experienced from October onward until February or March of the following year.
