State Electric Company Limited (STELCO) has successfully concluded a managerial training program aimed at the middle-management employees of the corporation.
The participants were awarded with certificate of completion for successfully following through the program.
According to STELCO the program was oriented to focus on three major areas of corporate management which included; leadership skills, people skills and project management skills. The programs ran through three participant batches with a total of 45 employees from middle-management hierarchy participating in them.
The training program is an initiative spearheaded by the corporation’s incumbent Managing Director Mr. Hassan Mughnee.
Moreover, this marks the very first time a training program of such magnitude has been organized for middle management employees of the company. Speaking about the initiative, the corporation’s front-man Mr. Mughnee said that the training program will pave way for similar programs in the future.
He further commented that the program follows STELCO’s “Leadership Succession Plan” initiative; which was created in a bid to foster the next generation of leaders for various departments of the corporation.
