Visit Maldives announces the “Maldivian Evening 2025″, a prestigious event set to take place at the Theatre of Digital Art (TODA) in Dubai on April 28 from 19:00hrs to 23:00hrs at the sidelines of the ATM Dubai 2025.

This event, designed to showcase the Maldives as a “multifaceted luxury destination” will offer a curated experience blending theatre, music, gastronomy, fashion, and storytelling all aimed at highlighting the depth the Maldives’ tourism and hospitality experiences.

Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) which operates the official destination promotion brand “Visit Maldives” said the event will invite a distinguished audience of travel professionals, media representatives, influential figures, VIPs, and government stakeholders. The event, much like most of MMPRC’s “Visit Maldives” undertakings is aimed at repositioning the Maldives as a destination rich in narratives, cinematic experiences, and world-class hospitality.

The event will commence with a Maldivian-themed red carpet reception at the TODA foyer with exclusive venue tours providing personalized walkthroughs of the immersive space with Visit Maldives officials and special hosts.

The agenda for the evening include a short film titled “Dhivehi Dreams”, and theatrical performance of “Dhon Hiyala & Alifulhu” (a local romantic tale much akin to Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet). The event also includes a fashion show featuring traditional Maldivian dresses with a modern twist, live musical performances, cultural dances, and storytelling segments.

Maldives Evening 2025 will also feature:

    • A 360° immersive experience
    • A virtual reality room showcasing Maldivian ecosystems (such as Mangrove Magic, Underwater Wonders, and Beaches of the Maldives)
    • An interactive room featuring traditional craftsmanship displays of Kasabu Viyun, Kunaa, and Fangi Vinun
    • A renowned local artist, Raappe (Kurahaa Raappe) will create an art piece with live music in “Synergy of Art and Sound”

Skyrock, a popular Maldivian band will deliver a high-energy performance at the event as well.

“This event will be a sensory journey that will allow attendees to experience the magic of the Maldives as never before. We are bringing our stories, music, flavours, and the Maldivian spirit to Dubai in a way that will deeply engage our audience,” Ibrahim Shiuree, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of MMPRC.
