The Maldives Business Chamber has held a curated training initiative targeting local small and medium enterprises (SMEs), to enhance their effectivity.

The Chamber launched this initiative, with a session focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its integration into modern business environments.

President of the Maldives Business Chamber Ahmed Amjad confirms close to 30 to 40 participants present for the first session. These participants represent local SMEs hailing from Male’ City and atolls.

Amjad further said the training aims to help local business to improve their efficiency using AI for an expeditious business experience; including faster task completion with fewer employees, implementing automated documentation processes that cut out the administrative red tape.

Participants described the learning experience as important and beneficial, adding they learned practical AI techniques to streamline business management and other tasks.

The Maldives Business Chamber, established in December last year, promotes the local business sector and its collective growth. Since inception, the organization has added around 100 member companies.

The Chamber affirms continuing efforts to train local businesses and stakeholders in AI integration and management.
