    The Bank of Maldives (BML) announces its next major step towards development.

    As such, BML chooses Finastra’s Essence next-generation platform to enhance agility, support innovation, and strengthen customer experience.

    Finastra confirmed this strategic partnership on Tuesday, confirming that BML has selected Finastra Essence to modernize its core banking operations and support its long-term digital transformation strategy. This partnership will enable BML to accelerate product innovation, enhance the bank’s operational efficiency. Additionally, this partnership allows the bank to deliver seamless banking experiences across both conventional and Islamic banking service.

    With Finastra’s implementation, BML will gain a modern, open and flexible platform that supports expeditious product and service marketing and streamlined operations.
