The Maldives government has resumed allocation of land plots for recipients under the Binveriya Scheme launched during the previous administration. Former President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih led government began handing over the land plot registries in August 2023 and allocated some of the plots for recipients before the transfer of government. Maldives Customs Service (MCS) has bid farewell to its Deputy Chief Superintendent Hassan Fakhree.
