Minister of Economic Development and Trade Mohamed Saeed said on Wednesday, the Maldives government is preparing to enter into a preferential trade agreement with Turkey. STO Managing Director Hussain Fahmy on Wednesday, said via X, that this year’s Ramadan coincided with the hottest period in the country. Reflecting on one of the youngest airports in the Maldives, Regional Airports Company Limited (RACL), its operator, said on X, the airport has served over 11,000 passengers during its first year.
