    The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC/Visit Maldives) has participated in the International Media Marketplace (IMM) 2025, held in Berlin, Germany on March 3, 2025.

    MMPRC showcased the offerings of Maldives tourism industry to top tier journalists and media representatives at this travel trade fair.

    IMM is the leading global networking event connecting the travel industry with editors, journalists, broadcasters and influencers. Organized by Travemedia, the event offers exhibitors a chance to connect with and build partnerships with travel trade professionals from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

    MMPRC’s participation at the event is aligned with the tourism board’s strategy to maintain destination presence and promote diverse tourism segments to travel trade professionals.

    Germany remains one of the strongest source markets to the Maldives; and is considered among the most lucrative markets to the island nation and as of February 25th, is ranked as the 5th strongest source market to the Maldives with an arrival count of over 23,000.
