In an official message, President Muizzu expressed profound shock and sorrow over the incident, which claimed the lives of innocent civilians and left several others injured. Reaffirming the Maldives’ unwavering commitment to combating terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, President Muizzu called for greater international solidarity and cooperation to address the scourge of violent extremism.
