The newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to the Maldives, Juan Antonio March Pujol paid a courtesy call on Maldives Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdulla Khaleel on Tuesday, June 24.
His courtesy call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs had come shortly after he presented the letter of credence to Maldives President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu at a ceremony held for this at the President’s Office on Monday.
Minister Khaleel congratulated the newly appointed Spanish Ambassador on the presentation of his letter of credence to Maldives President, and at the meeting between the two, the minister assured Maldives’ commitment towards further strengthening the existing relationship between both countries.
At the meeting, Dr. Khaleel was accompanied by the ministry’s secretary Dr. Hala Hameed, Ambassador-at-Large Dr. Mohamed Fahmy Hassan, Senior Under Secretary Hassan Hussain Shihab, Senior Political Director Ahmed Haanee Naeem, and the Assistant Director of the ministry Maryam Fathika Fayaz.
