The State Electric Company Limited (STELCO) in a smart move has introduced the STELCO Inhouse Training Pool, a new and interesting approach towards capacity, skills and overall personnel development of the utility service provider.
While introducing the pool, STELCO’s Managing Director Hussain Fahmy said that the corporation always prioritizes capacity and skills development of its employees to ensure better service standards.
The pool’s primary objective is enhancing the available skills and capabilities of the existing STELCO employees and pool the resources and knowledges among them in order to assist and boost the knowledge-base of each other.
STELCO said the inhouse pool will help the corporation in developing the capacity and skills of its employees without looking for external support, thereby enhancing a more cost-effective personnel development move.
A total of 35 STELCO staff, who had recently completed the ‘Training the Trainer’ international certification, had received this recognition formally and became certified trainers with the issuance of licenses to them.
