    The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Maldives, His Excellency Yahya Hassan Alqahtani, paid a courtesy call on Vice President His Excellency Uz Hussain Mohamed Latheef at the President’s Office earlier today.

    During the meeting, both dignitaries reaffirmed the enduring friendship and close bilateral relations between the Maldives and Saudi Arabia. Discussions focused on the strength of the longstanding brotherly ties and the shared commitment to further enhancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

    Vice President Latheef expressed sincere appreciation for the Kingdom’s continuous support to the Maldives across various sectors. He noted the valuable contributions made by Saudi Arabia toward national development, and conveyed hope that the strong partnership will only deepen in the years to come.

    Concluding the meeting, the Vice President extended his gratitude for the Kingdom’s generosity and friendship, underscoring the Maldives’ continued commitment to strengthening bilateral collaboration.
