STO further said the company was working to stabilize the prices of essential food items and ensure uninterrupted availability.

According to the new price revisions, onions will now be sold at MVR 10 per kilogram instead of MVR 12. Price of an onion sack has reduced from MVR 250 to MVR 190.

Potato prices has been adjusted as well, with a kilogram of it, previously sold at MVR 14, now sold at MVR 12. The price of a potato sack is now at MVR 160 instead of the previously sold price of MVR 300.
