    Nellaidhoo harbor observes overall 83% progress

    MTCC reports overall 83% progress of Nellaidhoo harbor development project

    Sunday, 08th August – Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) report on the latest updates of the Haa Dhaal atoll Nellaidhoo harbor development project.

    According to the contractor, the work on designing and building the harbor has observed an overall 83% progress.

    Meanwhile, MTCC is constructing the quay wall along with the installation of the harbor pavement with progress of each component at 97% and 96% respectively.

    Furthermore, scope of work for the project include dredging and reclamation operations spanning 62,863 cubic meters along with the construction of a breakwater stretching 331 meters and the quay wall which will measure 204 meters upon completion.

    Additionally, MTCC will construct a revetment measuring 50 meters along with the pavement installation, which is at ongoing capacity, and will measure 2,102 square meters upon completion.

    As part of the projects affiliate components falling under the entire work-scope, MTCC will install both navigation and street lights as well.

    The project valuation is a total of MVR50.8 million.
