    MTCC completes shore protection structures at Henbadhoo

    MTCC completes shore protection project at N. Henbadhoo

    Wednesday, 11th August – Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) confirms on the successful completion of shore protection structures at Noonu atoll Henbadhoo.

    Moreover, the contractor affirmed on completing the entirety of the project components on 02nd August, Monday of the previous week.

    The project work scope included backfilling and leveling of 5,000 cubic meters of sand along with the construction of a 25-meter groyne.

    In addition to this, MTCC had constructed a 235-meter rock boulder revetment as part of the shoreline protection structures along with the placement of geotextiles at a length of 235 meters.

    According to MTCC the project value was estimated at just MVR5 million.
